This is a Swiss made pocket watch produced by the Longines pocket watch company circa 1925
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and 15 Jewels. The movement is signed “Longines” # 4424398 and is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a silver open face case, which has a snap on back and bezel. The case is signed “Longines” 4424398. The case has a border of black niello enamel on the back and front edges. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – a small area of niello enamel loss on the bezel and light scratches on the back
Dial – the silvered dial has a full set of stylish blue steel hands and equally stylish black enamel numbers. The dial has an inner fancy border, is signed “Longines” and is in 99% mint condition.
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 46mm wide x 9mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch comes in a tooled leather box of the period
