This is a Swiss pocket watch made by Omega circa 1938 and was retailed by Birks, a Canadian jewellers still in existence today. The watch comes with a fabulous box which is so stylish and modern and the watch has a very unusual hour hand, the type which is frequently seen and really makes the dial something special
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a compensated balance wheel. The movement is signed “Omega, 15 Jewels, Swiss” # 8764996 and 38.5L.L1 under the balance. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light tarnish and one scratch
Case – the movement comes in a three piece stainless steel case, which has a snap on back and bezel. The case has a stylish flat edge. Plus a very unusual bow. The case is signed “Omega, Fab Suisse”. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – light scratches only, overall an excellent case.
Dial – the silvered has a satin finish with stylish blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Birks” and Omega” and is in 95% mint condition – light marks

The watch comes in its original leather and metal box which is decorated on the lid with a silver crackle design. Inside the box is lined with velvet and silk and signed “Birks”
