This is a Swiss pocket watch which has a concealed movement and the back cover has a glazed aperture partially revealing a revolving disc showing a succession images of the same lady: close up, clothed, semi clothed and nude.
Movement – the nickel movement has a lever escapement, is decorated with damascening and is in 95% mint condition
Case – the gunmetal metal case has a snap on bezel with a gilt sprung ring which holds the glass. The back of the case has a small glazed aperture partially revealing the revolving images.
The case is also signed “Brevet 24340”. The case has a high polish finish and is in 99% mint condition – practically unused apart from one small mark from opening the bezel.
Dial – the white enamel dial has a pair of gilt filigree hands and a blue steel sub seconds hand. The dial is in 100% mint condition
The watch measures 51mm wide x 14mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch has a synthetic glass.
