Movement – the gilt bridge movement has a lever escapement and is in 95% mint condition - light marks only.
Case – the movement comes in a massive gun metal open face case, which has a hinged back and snap on bezel. The case is decorated with a gilt border on the back edge and bezel, which is decorated with a raised pattern of flowers. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish. The case is in 95% mint condition –this case does have scratches on the back but also has its original blue / black sheen.
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of gilt filigree hands. The dial is decorated with pink and white enamel cartouches for each number and the dial decorated with a detailed image of an iron clad steamer with sail – this is a very rare image to find. The dial is in 100% mint condition – a superb dial
The watch has a bevelled mineral glass.
The watch measures 66mm wide x 21mm deep
The watch is stem wound / pin set.
