This is a Swiss pocket watch made for the Scottish market and has London silver import marks for 1919
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Syren, Swiss Made”. The movement is in 90% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a silver open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The case has coin edged sides and a vacant crest on the back. The case is in 90% mint condition – some scuff marks on the inside and also the back cover does with a tight seal although it will stay shut. This is reflected in the price
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands, is signed “Robert Leith, St Johns Road, Corstorphine” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 12mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
