This is a vintage pocket watch made by Gruen circa 1960.
I suspect that the watch has never been used as it is in the same perfect condition as when it was made. It comes with its original box, outer box and instruction leaflet.
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Gruen Watch Co, Unadjusted, 497 R, 17 Jewels, Swiss”. The movement is in 100% mint condition – flawless
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, which has snap on back and bezel. The back cover is slightly domed shaped with crisp engine turning and is set inside with a music box by Reuge. The rest of the case is decorated with coin edged sides and a smooth plain finish on the bezel. The case is in 100% mint condition – flawless
