This is a really good pocket watch for the money.

It is German and was made by Tellus (Ulrich Willhelm) in Frankfurt 1928. This grade is the UOT – Uhren Ohne Tadel which is a direct translation to Watch without fault and I have to agree with this summing up. Everything from the dial, case and movement is just spot on. and if you are looking for a gift, a start to a collection or just a pocket watch for yourself than this is a good buy.

Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement, 15 Jewels and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “UOT 25” and is in 99% mint condition

Case – the movement comes in a nickel open face case, which has a hinged back and snap on bezel. The case has an intricate chequer board engraving on the back, coin edged sides and milled detailing. The case is signed “Nickel Pur, Swiss Made” and is in 95% mint condition – a light build up of scratches on the back but still a good case

Dial – the gold coloured dial has a full set of gilt hands and raised gilt numbers.  The dial has a very fine and intricate raised lined chequer board pattern and is signed “UOT”. The dial is in 99% mint condition

The watch has a mineral glass

The watch measures 50mm wide x 9mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set
