This is a genuine Rolex pocket watch. It is in the military style of those used in World War Two with the same calibre of movement but this watch has no military marking.
Movement – the nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Rolex, 15 Rubies, Swiss Made”. The movement is in 90% mint condition – small marks only.
Cased – the movement comes in a white metal open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 70% mint condition – scuffed and worn on the back typically found with a military used watch
Dial -the white enamel dial is double sunk and has old luminous numbers and hands; they are no longer luminous. The dial is signed “Rolex, Swiss Made” and is in 99% mint condition – no damage just minor detritus from the paint on the hands and numbers
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 12mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
