This is a Swiss pocket watch made by Zenith which features a working alarm function
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a tandem wound mainspring – you wind one way to wind the watch, the other way to wind the spring for the alarm. The watch has an alarm function with a single hammer striking on the inner gongs. The movement is signed “Zenith, Swiss Made” and is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a white metal open face case, which has a hinged inner and snap on bezel. The back of the case has a hinged cover with a flat edge, allowing the watch to stand upright on a desk. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – light surface scratches only
Dial – the white enamel dial has old luminous hands and numbers – the luminosity has since gone. The watch has a sub seconds dial above the 6 and the alarm setting dial below the 12. By using the pin setting, above the one, and turning the winder, you set the time at whicih the alarm will ring. The dial is signed “Zenith” and is in 99% mint condition

The watch measures 48mm wide x 14mm deep
