This watch is made by the Swiss pocket watch company Vertex. The movement was sent to England where it was cased in a high quality English gold plated case and sold.
The watch runs but has not been cleaned or serviced and also requires a better looking glass to be fitted
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Vertex, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made” and is in 95% mint condition – super clean condition
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case made by Dennison, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 99% mint condition – 1 small nick on the back of the case
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of gilt hands and is signed “Vertex, Swiss Made”. The dial is in 100% mint condition.
