The watch has a good balance and spring but the watch is fully wound and not ticking. When pressure is applied to the balance, the watch will tick but stops and soon as pressure is released.
This is genuine Rolex pocket watch made for the English market. The movement was made by Rolex in Switzerland and sent to England where it was cased in a gold plated case by Dennison.
Movement – the high quality nickel 3 finger bridge movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and a capped escape wheel. The movement is decorated with fish scale damascening and is signed “Rolex, Lever, Swiss Made, 3 Adj, 17 Jewels” and is in 95% mint condition – superb condition
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case by Dennison, which has a hinged inner and back and front bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish
The case is in 70% mint condition – some scratches, bruises and dents on the back & a dull brassy colour.
Dial – the black enamel dial has white enamel numbers and a white enamel sub seconds dial.. The dial is in 99% mint condition
The watch has a bevelled mineral glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 14mm deep
