This pocket watch is losing a few minute per 24 hours and also has some rough marks on the back of the case. It has NOT been cleaned or serviced
Movement – the gilt bridge movement has a lever escapement and exposed steel work for the chronograph function. It is signed “The Ascot, Patent 20th June 1887, Swiss Made” and is in 95% mint condition – nearly flawless.
Case – the movement comes in a gunmetal open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and a snap on bezel. The case is stamped FB. The case has a smooth plain finish. The case is in 75% mint condition – there are patches of uneven colour and rough patches.
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of gilt hands inc sweep centre seconds hand, pointers and sub seconds. The dial is I 100% mint condition
The watch has a thick bevelled mineral glass
The watch measures 54mm x 20mm
The watch is stem wound / pin set
