This is a large timepiece which would have been put in a leather or a silver and leather desk case rather than be carried
The watch has a good balance but the mainspring is slipping. The watch is NOT working and is sold with NO Warranty
Movement – nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement, is decorated with damascening and is in 80% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a gun metal open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and a snap on bezel. The case also has a gilt bezel around the movement with a glass protecting the movement. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 75% mint condition – some small rust marks and scuffs which requires a polish
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is in 99% mint condition – small marks only
The watch has a bevelled mineral glass.
The watch measures 66mm wide x 20mm dep
The watch is stem wound / pin set
