This pocket watch has a good balance but the mainspring is slipping and so the watch will work for a while and the stop. It is sold “as is”
Movement – the nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening. The movement is in 80% mint condition – several scratches and marks
Case – the movement comes in a white metal large open face case, which has a hinged back and snap on bezel. There would have been a bezel and glass over the movement at one point – now missing. The case is decorated on the back with a raised circle decorated with the side profile of a young woman from the belle epoque era. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – light wear
Dial – the white enamel dial has a pair of gilt filigree hands and a gilt sub seconds hand and a pale blue enamel chapter ring. The dial is signed “Anti Magnetique” and is in 99% mint condition
The watch has a bevelled mineral glass
The watch measures 68mm wide x 20mm deep
The watch is stem wound / pin set
