This is a top quality silver and enamel ball watch by Juvenia.
The cylinder movement has a good balance and spring but the watch is not ticking and requires attention
Movement – the gilt bridge movement has a cylinder escapement and is signed “Juvenia Mfg, Unadjusted, 10 Jewels, Swiss”. The movement is in 90% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a top quality three piece case which is ball shaped but also meant to be in the form of a flower. The snap on back cover is domed and lined with gilt. It is signed “Depose, .935, Sterling Silver, Juvenia”.
The front cover is also domed but has a small aperture and glass for the dial. Around this is a raised border meant to simulate the opening of a flower. The ball is then decorated with green enamel with black enamel trim. The case is in 99% mint condition – superb condition
Dial – the dial sits on a post some way from the movement and has blue steel hands. The dial is in 99% mint condition
The watch has a special domed glass to sit in the aperture
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch measures 27mm wide x 22mm deep
Attached to the back is a small ring and a dog clip attached to a silver chain.
