This is a Swiss pocket watch made for the Chinese market.
The watch has a good mainspring AND balance. The watch will tick for around 20 minutesand then stops. It is sold as NOT working and does not come with a warranty
Movement – this beautiful gilt bridge movement has a cylinder escapement, with a blue steel bat wing balance and a freestanding mainspring barrel. The whole movement is decorated with carved polished decoration against a further engraved gilt background. The movement is signed in Chinese script and in 95% mint condition – a beautiful example
Case – the movement comes in a silver case, which has no hallmarks. The case has fixed front, a sprung glass cover over the movement and a hinged bac cover. The case is numbered 3788 and is signed in Chinese on the dust cover. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in The case is in 90% mint condition – light wear only
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of gilt hands and is in 95% mint condition – a tiny mark on the edge of the dial on the 10
