This pocket watch has a good balance but the mainspring is faulty and so there is no tension when you wind the watch – NOT working
Movement – the gilt bridge movement has a lever escapement, 15 Jewels and is signed “Lapive” 15223. The movement is in 90% mint condition – some small marks and a broken mainspring
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, which has a hinged inner and back and snap on bezel. The case has coin edged sides, engine turning and is in 75% mint condition – a ring or metal coming through on the back cover and there is a small ding on the edge also
Dial – the very attractive red paint / wax on enamel dial is decorated with a sunburst pattern which reflects light and makes the dial “sparkle” depending on the position of the dial. The dial has gilt detailing and gilt numbers and is in 100% mint condition

The watch is stem wound / stem set
