This is a Swiss pocket watch which has a huge 8 day mainspring taking up the back of the watch. Due to this the balance and regulator and visible through the front dial area.
Movement – the pocket watch movement is completely hidden by the large mainspring barrel signed “Plateau double, Levees Visbles, 8 Jours, Garantie”. The mainspring barrel is then decorated with engraved medals and awards
The cover is in 90% mint condition – light tarnish
Case – the movement comes in a nickel metal open face case, which has a hinged back and a snap on bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – superb condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has a pair of blue hands and a visible balance and regulator. The dial is decorated with painted flowers. The dial is signed “8 Days”. The dial is in 80% mint condition - hairlines in the centre
The watch measures 48mm wide x 14mm deep
