This watch has a good spring and the movement will tick. The repeater function is partially complete, it chimes 5 hours and no quarters - the motion work is missing.
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening. The movement has a slide activated quarter repeater function with two hammers striking on the gongs. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light tarnish
Case – the movement comes in a metal open face case, which has a hinged back. The case has no bezel but would have been fitted into an outer case probably. The case is in 95% mint condition
The watch has no dial, no hour or minute hands and no glass
The watch measures 62.57 x 12. The movement measures 43mm wide on the dial plate, 42mm on the back plate
