This watch has not been cleaned or serviced and the mainspring slips back when fully wound. If you wind it to the point before it slips, it will keeps good time. Ocassionally the chronograph on the back and register do not return to 0. This watch is sold for restoration and does not come with a warranty
Movement – gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement, 15 Jewels and a lever escapement. Positioned above the chronograph work is a dial plate with a white enamel dial. Within is the chronograph mechanism – start, stop, fly back and reset with a 30 minute register. The dial has a blue steel centre seconds hand and a register hand in the subsidiary register dial. This dial has a very faint hairline on the 40 across to the 20 where there some small chips all hidden by the bezel.
Case – the movement comes in a silver case, which has a snap on back and front bezel. The case is marked .800 and has a stepped sides with coin edged side. The case is in 80% mint condition – the sides are rubbed with two big dents
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is in 90% mint condition – a light hairline on the 9
