This pocket watch is ticking but stops and starts and so does not run properly  – it has not been cleaned or serviced and is sold with no warranty

Movement – the gilt bridge movement has a cylinder escapement and is in 90% mint condition

Case – the movement comes in a silver open face case which has a metal inner signed Cylindre 8 Rubis. The case has a hinged back and bezel. The case has no hallmarks. It is decorated with floral engraving and is in 85% mint condition – some wear and the bow, although original has lost its silver colour and is now gilt

Dial – the white enamel dial has duck egg blue enamel circles on each number. The dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is in 90% mint condition – a crack on the edge near the 2
