Swiss Novelty clock with a hand painted dial c1910

This is a Swiss pocket watch movement incorporated into a little clock

The clock is running and keeps time to within 5 minutes a day. It has NOT been cleaned or serviced and is sold with NO warranty

Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “6 Jewels, 2 Adj, Swiss”. The movement is in 80% mint condition – tarnished

Case – the movement sits in a metal case which has a snap on back. The movement has a winder and wheel to set the hands. 

The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 85% mint condition – some tarnish

Dial – the hand painted dial is of a church with a small watch dial signed “Swiss”

The dial is in 95% mint condition

The clock sits on a piece of green alabaster which is in 95% mint condition – 1 little chip on the corner

The clock measures 81mm high x 94mm wide x 28mm deep
