This is a genuine Rolex pocket watch made circa 1910
The watch has a good spring and balance and works but has not been cleaned or serviced and so is sold with no warranty.
Movement – the nickel 3 finger bridge movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Rolex, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made”. The movement is in 70% mint condition – several marks and quite dirty
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, which has a hinged back and a snap on bezel. The case is signed “Rolex, 7 World Medal, Geneva, Suisse, Gold plated”
The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 70% mint condition – the bow is worn and very brassy, there are also many scratches and some smaller but much deeper marks where the gold plate has worn through to the metal
Dial – the silvered guilloche dial has a sunburst effect and fancy blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Rolex, Swiss Made” and is in 75% mint condition – tarnished
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 45mm wide x 9mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
