Superb Silver Masonic case and Dial Pocket watch c1910

This is a Swiss pocket watch with a truly outstanding case and dial.

Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement is unsigned and is in 85% mint condition – some small scratches

Case – the movement comes in a silver open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case is signed “Ancre, Lilie” The inner cover is decorated with a row of individual miniature medals

The back of the case is decorated with a superb cast case of Masonic imagery, exceptional quality and detail with the words engraved “A La Glorie du Grand Architecte de L’universe”

The imagery includes the all seeing eye, the sun, the moon, clasped hands, various occupational images – anchor, compass, globe, dividers, books, swords. The case for the most part is in high relief and the photos don’t really do this justice and the case is in superb condition

Dial – the original and unrestored white enamel dial has individual symbols in lieu of each number. The dial is particularly fine and colourful and the dial is in 100% mint condition

The watch measures 49mm wide x 13mm deep
