Wooden Pocket Watch with Unusual Turned Pillars. c1830

This is a rosewood pocket watch stand which has a round tapered base with three button feet. The stand has many milled ringed borders on the base. The base supports two parallel pillars decorated with ringed carving. The base also has two acorn motif finials. The stand has a metal hook but is missing its finial. The stand measures 115mm wide x 140mm high. The stand is in 90% mint condition – mint condition apart from the missing finial and a repair on one side, which is reflected in the low price.
