Hamilton Railway Special 992B Pocket Watch c1950

This is an American Rail Road Grade pocket watch made by the Hamilton Watch Company circa 1950

It is a 16 size 21 Jewel grade pocket watch

It is unusual in that it appears to have never been used

Movement – the high grade ¾ plate nickel movement has a lever escapement and a micrometer regulator. The movement is signed “Hamilton 992B, 21 Jewels, USA, Adj Temp & 6 positions” # C522083. The movement is decorated with damascening and is in 99% mint condition – 1 tiny marks

Case – the movement comes in a Hamilton Watch Company stainless steel case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case has turned detailing and ridges on the back edge and bezel – so you can open the case. The case is in 100% mint condition

Dial – the white paint on metal dial has original blue steel hand, which retain their blue steel blue colour with a deep lustre showing no use. The dial is signed “Hamilton Railway Special” and is in 100% mint condition

The watch is stem wound / lever set

The watch has a mineral glass

The watch measures 50mm x 14mm deep
