This is a Rolex pocket watch, made in Switzerland but made for the English market. The movement was sent to England where it was cased and sold
Movement – the good quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Rolex, 15 Rubies, Timed for all three climates, Swiss Made” # 5201622. The movement is in 100% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated case by Dennison. It has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands. It is signed “Rolex, Swiss Made” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a bevelled mineral glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 13mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
