This pocket watch is only suited to watches to watches from 1735 – 1770 as the claw support and round aperture is designed for the size and depth of this period of watches
The stand has a rectangular heavy gilt metal base decorated with gadrooned detailing.
The stand is in the figure of a semi naked lady with outstretched arms entwined with scrolls and leaves. She supports the watch holder, which has a claw back. This decorated with scroll work and the face of the Green Man on the upper edge.
The stand measures 290mm x 140mmx 75mm. The stan dis in 95% mint condition
