This is pocket watch is by the Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, USA

Movement – the high grade nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, 17 Jewels, Adjusted 3 positions” # 31211347. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light scratches only.

Case – the movement comes in a 14K Gold filled Illinois open face case, which has a hinged back and snap on front. The back cover is engraved “Ld Valleur, 1931”

The stylish Art deco case has a black enamel chapter ring with silvered numbers. The rest of the case  has stepped sides and there is a smooth plain finish on the back of the case. The case is in 95% mint condition – superb condition

Dial – the silvered dial has stylish blue steel hands and is signed “Elgin”. The dial is in 99% mint condition – Superb condition

The watch has a mineral glass

The watch measures 45mm wide x 8mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set
