This movement was made in Switzerland but made for the English market. The movement was sent to England where it was cased and sold by Kendal and Dent. The watch comes with its original box and papers.
Movement – the good quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator. It is decorated with fish scale damascening. It is signed “DF & C, 16 Jewels, Swiss Made”. The movement is in 100% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in an English silver hunter case by Dennison. It has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops open crisply to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. The case has coin edged sides, engine turning and a vacant cartouche on the back. The case is in 95% mint condition – some scratches on the back edge
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands. It is signed “Kendal and Dent, London Makers to the Admiralty, Swiss Made” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch measures 51mm wide x 13mm deep
