Stylish Square cased vintage pocket watch by Elgin c1927

This is an American pocket watch

Movement  - the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and a micrometer regulator. The movement is signed “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, USA, 17 Jewels, Adjusted” # 30813332 and is in 95% mint condition

Case – the movement comes in a 14K white gold filled open face case, which has a snap on back and bezel. The inside of the case is signed “Cased and Timed by Elgin Nat’l Watch Co”. The square case has carved bevelled edges and bow. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – superb condition

Dial – the silvered dial has blue steel hands and is signed “Elgin” The dial is decorated with tracery. The dial is in 95% mint condition

The watch has a bevelled mineral glass

The watch measures 43mm wide x 11mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set
