Vintage pocket watch by Hamilton c1940

This is pocket watch is by the Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, PA, USA

Movement – the high grade nickel bridge movement has a lever and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Hamilton USA, 17 Jewels, Adjusted 3 positions, 912” # X47310. The movement is in 95% mint condition – very clean

Case – the movement comes in a 14K Gold filled Wandsworth open face case, which has a snap on back and front. The inner case is etched “Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, PA, 14K gold filled” The case has a stepped and carved sides and smooth plain finish on the rest of the case. The case is in 90% mint condition – light scratches on the back

Dial – the silvered dial has fancy gilt hands and numbers and is signed “Hamilton”. The dial is in 95% mint condition – excellent condition

The watch has a mineral glass

The watch measures 44mm wide x 9mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set
