Solid 9K Gold J W Benson. With Box c1928

This pocket watch movement was made by J W Benson in their Swiss factory and sent to England where it was cased and sold. It comes in a solid 9K Gold case, which has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1928

Movement – the gilt bridge movement has a lever escapement and is signed “J W Benson, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made”. The movement is in 195% mint condition

Movement – the movement comes in a top quality solid 9K Gold case by Dennison with a hinged back, inner cover and snap on bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – 1 small bruises on the edges near the winder

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “J W Benson, London, Swiss Made”. The dial is in 90% mint condition – some small hairlines on the V

The watch has a mineral glass

The watch measures 50mm wide x 14mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set

The watch comes in its original leather box lined with silk and velvet and signed J W Benson
