Superb Gilt Watch Stand with a Stag. Circa 1820

This is a superb gilt metal stand. The rectangular base as 4 scroll feet and ornate grape vibe and scroll decoration. On the base is a detailed figure of a stag. The main body of the stand has the watch holder and aperture surrounded by detailed vines and leaves. The stand is bet suited to the slimmer Continental watches of the 1820-50. The stand measures 180mm x 120mm x 60mm and is in 95% mint condition – superb condition
