This is one of the highest grade pocket watches, Waltham watch company USA produced.

Movement – the nickel bridge movement is an 1899 model. It has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator, large gold jewel settings, gold train wheels, diamond endstones and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “AWWCo, Waltham, Mass, Riverside, Maximus, 23 Jewels, Adjusted” # 15118125. The movement is in 95% mint condition – very clean condition

Case – the movement comes in a gold plated Keystone Hunter case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The case is decorated with engine turning and has a floral motif on the back and small engraved initials on the front cover. The front cover pops open to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. The case is in 95% mint condition – excellent condition

Dial – the white enamel dial is the correct original dial to a Riverside Maximus as the signature of Waltham is in a particular scroll script you only find on this model. The dial is also double sunk and has red five minute marks and blue steel hands. The dial is in 99% mint condition
