Pink and Gold enamel dial Elgin pocket watch c1927

This is fancy dial pocket watch made by the Elgin Watch Co, USA

Movement - the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, USA 17 Jewels” # 30316103. The movement is in 90% mint condition  - some light scratches and marks

Case – the movement comes in a yellow gold plated open face case, which has a hinged back and snap on bezel. The case has carved edges with engine turning on the back. The case is in 80% mint condition – excellent condition but there are few light bruises on the back and light wear

Dial – the white enamel dial has blue steel hands and is signed “Elgin”. The dial is decorated with gold and pink enamel and is in 99% mint condition – superb condition

The watch has mineral glass

The watch measures 43mm wide x 11mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set
