This is a pocket watch movement was made by Waltham, USA for the English market. It was sent to England where it was cased and sold in a top quality Dennison case.
Movement – the ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “American Waltham, USA, Traveller” # 19367463. The movement is in 90% mint condition – some light marks
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated Hunter case by Dennison. The case has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops crisply open to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – some small marks on the edges but overall a superb case
Dial – the white enamel dial has a pair of gilt hands and a blue steel sub seconds hand. It is signed “Waltham” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 51mm wide x 13mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
