This is an American pocket watch made by the Waltham Watch Co circa 1881

Movement – the 18 size 11 Jewel movement has a lever escapement and is signed “PS Bartlett, Waltham Mass” # 1656802. The movement is in 90% mint condition – some cloudiness to the plates

Case – the movement comes in a 3 oz coin silver full case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops open to 45 degrees when you press the stem in and then needs to be lifted to the full 90 degrees, The case is in 80% mint condition – 1 scratch on the front and some small dents, light bruises and lighter scratches, plus some wear on the stem cap and the bow is replaced - reflected in the price

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “AWCo, Waltham”. The dial is in 100% mint condition

The watch has a fine mineral glass

The watch measures 57mm wide x 20mm deep
