This is a high quality American Rail Road grade pocket watch made by the Hamilton Watch company

Movement – the high grade, 940 model, full plate bridge movement has a lever escapement and has a micrometer regulator and gold raised jewels. The movement is decorated with damascening and is signed “Hamilton Special, 21 Jewels, Double Roller, Motor Barrel, Adjusted 5 positions” # 909568 and is in 95% mint condition –some light scratches but still a superb movement

Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, which has a screw on back and bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish with turned detailing on the edges. The case is in 95% mint condition

Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk and has a full set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Hamilton Special, 21 Jewels” and has continuous minute marks and a 6 within the seconds dial. The dial is in 99% mint condition – 1 scratch

The watch has a mineral glass

The watch is stem wound / lever set

The watch measures 54mm wide x 17mm deep
