Unused 16s 21J Hamilton 992B with original Box and packaging c1947

This is an official American Railroad pocket watch made by the Hamilton Watch Co.

The watch is in unused condition and comes in its original “cigarette” bakelite flip top box. The box is lined with blue velvet and is signed Hamilton on the lid and has the Hamilton crest on the front. The box is in superb condition

The box also comes with its original cardboard outer case which has its original label with the details of the pocket watch inc serial numbers -  this box has some wear on the seams

Movement – this high grade ¾ plate nickel movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and a gold capped escape wheel. The movement also has gold train wheels, raised gold jewel settings and is decorated with striped damascening. The movement is signed “Hamilton Watch Co, USA, 992B, 21 Jewels, Adj Temp & Six positions” # C195858.  The movement is in 99% mint condition – some tiny marks at point of assembly  but overall in superb condition

Case – the movement comes in a stainless steel open face case by Hamilton Watch Co, which has a screw off back and front. The case has turned detailing on the back and front bezels and a smooth plain finish on the back cover. The case is in 100% mint condition – unused condition

Dial – the white paint on dial is has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Hamilton”. It has a continuous minutes and is in 100% mint condition

The watch is stem wound / lever set

The watch measures 51mm x 14mm deep
