This is a Canadian railroad approved grade pocket watch made by Waltham, USA.
Movement – full plate Model 83 nickel movement has a lever escapement and has a micrometer regulator, large gold raised jewel settings and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Canadian Pacific Railway (within a shield topped by a beaver), 17 Jewels, Adjusted” # 7903418. The movement is in 90% mint condition – many light marks and scratches which you can see under close inspection with an eye glass
Case – the movement comes in a Keystone gold plated open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case has coin edged sides, a crest on the back and the rest of the case has light engine turning – it is in 85% mint condition – several bruises around the edges and light rubbing on the engine turning, plus the gold plate has worn off the upper part of the bow.
Dial – the white enamel double sunk dial has a full set of blue steel hands. It has the typical 24 hour chapter ring, which is found on Canadian railroad watches and is signed “Waltham”. The dial is in 90% mint condition – a light hairline coming from the hands to the sub seconds, two very light hairlines under the sub seconds and a very small mark on the 10.

The watch measures 55mm wide x 18mm deep.
The watch has a bevelled mineral glass
