16s 21 Jewel 60 Hour Illinois Bunn Special Mark III pocket watch c1928

This is a rare American Rail road pocket watch made by the Illinois Watch Co

Movement – the ultra high grade nickel 3/4  plate movement has a micrometer regulator, large gold jewel settings and is decorated with fine damascening. The Mark III movement is signed “Sixty Hour Bunn Special, Illinois Watch Co Springfield, Ill, 21 Jewels, Adjusted Temperature 6 positions, #  5114149 and is in 95% mint condition – a superb movement

Case – the movement comes in a 10K gold filled open face case, pocket watch case which has  screw off back and front and is signed Bunn Special Model. The case has a smooth plain finish, with turned sides and is in 95% mint condition – superb condition

Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk and has a full set of blue steel hands. The is signed “Illinois”. The dial is in 100% mint condition – flawless

The watch has a bevelled mineral glass

The watch is stem wound / lever set

The watch measures 51mm wide x 14mm deep
