This is very much in the late Victorian style of mourning jewellery and is made from Whitby Jet a particular black polished stone used to great effect in this field.
The chain is made up of a large ball decorated with a multi faceted cut. And then a length of smaller facet cut balls interspersed with hexagonal cut tubes. The jet has a shiney finish and the chain is in 100% mint condition
