Chronograph pocket watch by Minerva in unused condition c1940

This is a vintage pocket watch made by the Minerva watch co. The watch is in practically unused condition and is in near flawless condition

Movement – the high quality 17 Jewel nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with exposed steel work for the start, stop, fly back and reset chronograph function. The movement is signed “Minerva” and is in 100% mint condition

Case – the movement comes in a chrome open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 99% mint condition – a tiny amount of chrome is missing around the thumb piece from opening the watch

Dial – the paint on metal dial has a full set of blue steel hands and a 30 minute register. The dial is signed “Minerva, Swiss” and is in 100% mint condition

The watch has a synthetic glass 

The watch measures 51mm wide x 15mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set
