Large silver and agate fancy pocket watch chain c1890

This is an elaborate Victorian pocket watch chain which measures 340mm in length from the T bar to the dog clip. The T bar is a silver sleeve on a metal inner and the tip slides out which is a watch key – a size 2-3 approx. The dog clip is an earlier style which unscrews and hinges open rather than springs open and close on a spring.

The chain is made up of 4 lengths of fine mesh links held together by silver ball mounts.  Holding the strands together are 2 large silver slides with carved sides and set with unusual multi colour agate. Hanging at the opposite end to the dog clip are two additional lengths of chains. One has the dog clip hanging from it and the other has a large silver tassle set with this unusual multi colour agate. The tassle measures 29mm wide x 50mm long inc the tassles. The chain is in 90% mint condition
