English silver vintage Rolex pocket watch c1928

This is genuine Rolex pocket watch made in Switzerland and sent to England where it was cased and sold. The English silver case has hallmarks for Birmingham 1928

Movement – the high quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator. The movement is decorated with fish scale damascening and is signed “Rolex Lever, Swiss Made, Adj 3 pos, 17 Jewels” and is in 95% mint condition.

Case – the movement comes in an English silver open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The Dennison silver case has coin edged sides, engine turning and is in 95% mint condition – a very clean case but there is one small ding on the edge

Dial – the white enamel dial has old luminous hands and numbers, long since lost their luminosity. The dial is signed “Manoah Rhodes & Sons, Bradford” and the dial is in 100% mint condition

The watch has a beveled mineral glass

The watch measures 48mm wide x 14mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set
