Stylish Art Deco pocket watch by Tavannes c1935

This is a Swiss pocket watch made circa 1935

Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Tavannes, Watch Co, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made, Adjusted, Patented” # 298325. The movement is in 90% mint condition

Case – the movement comes in a steel open face case, which has a snap on bezel and a hinged back. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition

Dial – the super smart silvered dial has a matt satin finish with stylish numbers and blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Tavannes” and is in 95% mint condition

The watch measures 47mm wide x 9mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set

The watch has a bevelled mineral glass.
