This is a gilt metal Chatelaine which has a hinged, sprung clasp at one end with a spike to secure it securely. There is also a length of fine mesh links and a dog clip to attach to the watch in the pocket. The remaining chatelaine would then hang from the pocket. The chatelaine is made up of a strap of large strut links. Hanging from it is a matching seal with same decoration. The chatelaine is quite yellow in colour and looks like 18K The chain measures 110mm from end to end, is 7mm wide and is in 95% mint condition
