The chain is made of Continental silver; this is a lower grade of silver than English silver and so consequently it doesn’t have any silver hallmarks, just marked SS – Sterling silver.
The chain measures 250mm in length from the bolt ring to the dog clip. This fancy watch chain is made up of 2 sections of two curb links and mesh links, joined together by carved panel decorated with enamel flowers on each side. Hanging from the bolt ring is an additional length of curb and mesh links from which hangs a beautiful silver tassel. The chain is in 90% mint condition – a little damage on the enamel
